"High risk extreme sport" does not really scream women in the traditional sense, but kite boarding may be just the sport women are missing! I started kite boarding about a year ago and cannot lie; the first two months were hell on water. The frustration, the struggles, I kept asking myself if it was all worth it? It is beyond a shadow of a doubt worth far more than every ounce of the frustration and effort I put into learning this sport. I could not imagine my life without it now.

This is the sport where never again will we complain about our hips. Having a low center of gravity is a definite advantage over those big bulky shoulders for getting out of the water and over the board. Going back to the big shoulders, did I mention this sport takes almost no upper body strength?
Some of the most exhilarating kite moves are done with pure finesse not brute strength. The harness takes the load which means all you need is hip and core strength. Lets face it when is the last time you saw a man commenting on the great hip and butt workout he just got at the gym?
