air grounded noah simom pro-instructor As air's first employee, Noah has gone from novice to a fully sponsored
pro kiteboarder. You'll either see him in the shop, teaching or out on his Globe Kites (GK) throwing himself
around like a rag doll...often grounding himself learning tricks.

Noah first came into air as a customer . . .kind of. He had just bought a used kite and board down the street at a small local competitor, and came over to air to have us help him set everything up and build his board.
He invited to take us, Adam & Elea, out on his boat for some remote kiting on the barrier islands. We had a great time and quickly saw a lot of potential and just plain goodness in Noah. A few weeks later, we offered him the first staff position. He is now a full kiteboarding instructor, sponsored pro rider, and on his way to a management position . . .at least we hope!
nickname: air grounded
Noah is one of the most determined and aggressive kiteboarders we've ever seen. He charges each session with full power and practices the most difficult moves. . .often ending up grounded on the beach after crashing. Noah currently holds the record for breaking the most kiteboards in Charleston.
On another note, we've yet to meet someone who has the unique power to get himself "grounded" at home so much.
